Mystery clocks are known for being great collectors' items. These are perhaps some of the most sought after clocks when it comes to collecting, and some collectors will pay a very high price for an antique mystery clock. Some of these clocks were of amazing design quality, and were simply wondrous feats of clock making skill. This is true especially considering the time that these clocks were built in.
These clocks come in all kinds of different styles. From airplane propellers, to chariots, to ship steering wheels, to piles of blocks and gears? there is really no rhyme or reason to the designs of mystery clocks. One of the mysteries might actually be how anyone thought up the ideas behind them! These clocks were made my most prominent clockmakers, and are limitedly available on the internet in good condition. It is sometimes hard to get these cheaply, since they are so popular.
